Synopsis: Andy and Ronnie are just ordinary removal men, nothing exciting ever happens in their day. Today will change that: one day they will never forget.
Andy owns the van and Ronnie lifts the heavy stuff. They have been doing this job for several years and nothing interesting has ever happened. That is, until the events of ‘One Day Removals’ start to unfold... Follow the adventures of two unremarkable Scottish men who are forced to deal with events of a quite extraordinary nature. Events that will take them into parts of Scotland seldom seen. Events of a very dark kind. It just takes one bad day to change everything, and no-one is safe. In a case that will rock the very foundations of the Scottish legal system, Andy Watt is telling the truth - but no living soul will ever believe him.

Patrick Wight (Andy)
A popular stand-up comedian and presenter, Patrick Wight has toured the UK and Europe with his comic stage show and featured in his own regular programme on independent radio from 1998 to 2003. Starting his career in the early 1980’s, Patrick has also been a popular disc jockey and sports presenter, commentating on many of the Aberdeen soccer games on radio. A keen historian and writer, he has also written and presented local history programmes on Grampian Television (now STV Aberdeen). Only recently turning to acting, Patrick made his feature film debut in Stirton Production’s, ‘The Planet’ (2006). Where he played a battle hardened mercenary, marooned on an alien world. Patrick’s character, Andy, is a regular family guy who just wants to do his job and get on with his life. It’s a pity this particular day has other plans for him.
Scott Ironside (Ronnie)
Since receiving his acting and performance qualifi cation from Scotland’s Coatbridge College in 2001, Scott Ironside has became a very experienced actor in both stage and screen. Highlights include the title role of Macbeth, in Glasgow (1999); Hamlet’s father, in the Edinburgh fringe production of ‘Hamlet,’ (2001); and a two-man stage comedy, ‘Squirrels’ (David Mamet, 2002). Scott, has performed in several youth theatre productions and musicals: including the title role as the ‘Gruffalo,’ in the musical of the same name, which had a 3 month UK tour in 2001. He has also organised stage fighting workshops, in which he taught many of the forms of combat and swordplay used in theatre. He has had roles in several short films and a part in ‘The House of Mirth’ (Terence Davies, 2002). His supporting role in The ‘Planet,’ (Mark Stirton, 2006) impressed the director so much he was asked to star in the next Stirton Productions movie, ‘One Day Removals.’ Scott plays Ronnie, a labourer who helps out with the removal work, but all he wants is to leave his day job and to become a rock star.
Mike Mitchell (The Inspector)
Overall WFF Mr Universe and World Champion 2003,2004,2005/6 successfully defended World Title November 2003. Successfully defended the WFF Mr Universe and world Title 2005, and a competitive body builder for 15 years. Mike acting career includes playing an FBI agent in ‘Life on the Line,’ (2003) ‘The Planet,’ (2006), in which he appeared as the leading character ‘Captain Morgan,’ and a role in Yorkshire Television’s popular drama ‘Emmerdale.’
A former member of Her Majesty’s special forces, a professional horse rider, diver and member of the Institute of Directors, Mike Mitchell is perfect for the role of the inspector, an experienced policeman who has heard a lot of strange stuff in his career - but nothing like the story that Andy tells him!
